Ben Slotman is Professor and Head of of Radiation Oncology at Amsterdam UMC. His expertise lies mainly in the field small cell lung cancer and the early clinical implementation of new technologies.
He has (co)-authored over 400 peer-reviewed publications, including as first author in New Engl J Med and Lancet. He received his MD (1985) and PhD (1990) summa cum laude. He received various awards and honours, including the honorary fellowship of the American College of Radiology and he is Fellow of ASTRO. He is past-president of the American Radium Society and President of ESTRO (2020-22).
