Jiaqing Liu

Dr. Jiaqing Liu has focused his scientific interest in the field of Cancer Immunotherapy since his university training. He obtained an M.D. degree from the Zhongshan School of Medicine of Sun Yat-sen University. In 2021, he obtained a grant supported by China Postdoctoral Science Foundation (BX2021390). Up to now, he has published 11 papers in international peer-reviewed journals, which included Journal of Thoracic Oncology, npj Precision Oncology, and ESMO Open.

Colette Shen

Colette Shen is an Assistant Professor in Radiation Oncology and Lineberger Cancer Center member at the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill, specializing in the treatment of central nervous system, head and neck, and pediatric malignancies. Her areas of research interest include evaluating combinations of radiotherapy and immunotherapy for advanced cancers, treatment of brain metastases with stereotactic radiosurgery in combination with systemic therapies, and evaluation of sequelae of radiotherapy to the brain, focusing on imaging-based and neurocognitive changes following treatment.

Prior to joining UNC, Dr. Shen completed residency training in Radiation Oncology at the Johns Hopkins Hospital. She obtained an MD/PhD in Bioengineering at the University of Pennsylvania, with a research focus on regulation of angiogenesis by the extracellular matrix. Dr. Shen has authored over 40 peer-reviewed articles and is a member of the American Society for Radiation Oncology, Children’s Oncology Group, and Society for Neuro-Oncology.
