Dr. Ken Harada specialized in the treatment of thoracic cancers with radiotherapy. He completed all post-graduate training at National Cancer Center Hospital, Tokyo. He joined the faculty at Showa University in 2021. He is an active member of many national and international organizations related to radiation oncology serving the International Association for the Study of Lung Cancer (IASLC). His clinical research focuses on high-precision radiotherapy such as Stereotactic Body Radiotherapy and Intensity Modulated Radiation Therapy. His basic research focuses on the application of engineering for advanced cancer inventing ultra elastic covered stent for esophagus cancer. He is also interested in the search of biomarkers for oligometastatic disease and in new technique for whole brain radiotherapy analyzed based on 3D atlas of cortical structures using artificial intelligent.
