He is mainly engaged in lung cancer surgery-oriented single disease multidisciplinary comprehensive treatment, including stage IIIA-N2 Lung Cancer, classification diagnosis and treatment of solitary pulmonary nodule/adenocarcinoma of lung/GGO, minimally invasive thoracoscopic radical resection of lung cancer, pathological classification of lung cancer and clinical practice, artificial intelligence image-liquid biopsy for lung cancer and early screening and diagnosis system, etc. He has undertaken four research projects supported by the National Natural Science Foundation of China (i.e. Molecular evolution of targeted drug resistant molecule T790M-2010; molecular evolution of lung adenocarcinoma-2013; Molecular heterogeneity of high-grade neuroendocrine neoplasm DLL3-2016; radiomics in precise treatment of lung cancer-2018); the research results of these four projects were published in journals like lancet oncol , JCO , J Thorac Oncol, CCR, Cancer, Oncologist, Lung Cancer, JHO, Eur J Cardiothorac Surg, Ann Surg Oncol, BMC Cancer, Clin Lung Cancer, Cancer Lett,etc.
