Dr. Higgins is an Associate Professor specializing in thoracic malignancies at Winship Cancer Institute of Emory University. Dr. Higgins leads clinical trials exploring novel radiation and immunotherapy combinations in both non-small cell and small-cell lung cancer. She serves as the Thoracic Oncology Disease Team Leader as well as Medical Director for Radiation Oncology at Winship Cancer Institute. She is also active within the National Clinical Trials Network, and serves on the Board of Directors for NRG Oncology.
